Our unique mead is handcrafted in Frederick Maryland. All of the raw honey used comes from local beekeepers.
About Meeker's Meadery
The Beginnings
The meadery started out as a Native Winery in Long Beach Mississippi in 2021 where we used all local honey from Gulf Coast beekeepers as well as fruit from local farms. Moving to Maryland we decided to keep the same formula of local sourcing.
Using Local Ingredients
Meeker's Meadery uses local Maryland honey and local fruit to produce unique varieties of mead. With varieties of honey including Black Locust, Tulip Poplar, Clover, and Wildflower just to name a few. (We've even found some smaller amounts of dandelion honey and spotted lantern fly honey)
When will the mead be ready?
The manufacturing space is located at Monocacy Brewing Company in Frederick. Expecting batches to be made available around winter of 2026.
There is no traditional tasting room, though that might change in the future, mead will be available through select local wine stores, Vinoshipper, and a Frederick Farmers Market stand in 2027.
